Cellulite removal

VelaSmooth is a medical method for cellulite. Therapy

A therapy can be performed within the skin regions which are affected by cellulite, but also these which require modeling and firming: tights, abdomen, buttocks, arms, a chin,a neck, calves, and cheeks. The basic therapy consists of 8 to 12 treatments twice  a week. Before the first session a patient is weighted and the areas undergoing the treatment are measured. Each session lasts about 45 minutes. First results such as smoother skin and a decrease in circumferences of particular body parts are visible after the fourth procedure. After the basic therapy one reminding session every 4 to 6 weeks is recommended.

 

Course of the procedure
No special clothes or tights are needed for
the procedure. Patient should have clean, dry skin, peeling of callous epidermis is recommended before the procedure. During the treatment, which is felt as a warm massage,  a patient’s  comfort  is high. Just after the session a patient can return to ordinary activity.

  

Contraindications
Infection in the area of procedure, implanted heart pacemaker or automatic internal heart defibrillator, porphyria, epilepsy, pregnancy, skin cancer in history, extensive tan, metal implants
in the area of procedure.

 

After the procedure
On forming cellulite some factors have significant influence: amount of fatty tissue, diet, lifestyle, liquid disposal, hormonal activity, genetic factors, and smoking. Effectiveness of VelaSmooth device does not depend on them. To make the obtained effects permanent, reminding procedures every
4 to 6 weeks are recommended. Healthy diet, drinking enough water, physical activity and healthy lifestyle are also significant.

How does it work?

VelaSmooth device uses three sources of energy at the same time:

  • Infrared radiation, which stimulates microcirculation, increases tissue oxygenation, heats up subcutaneous fatty tissue up to 5 mm deep, increases skin elasticity.
  • Bipolar high frequency current, which heats the tissue up on the depth from 5- 15 mm.
