Wrinkles smoothing

Wrinkles, loss of skin elasticity, post acne scars, concave scars, damage of the skin structure, diluted pores.

How does it work?

The system works by the stimulation of collagen rebuilding by the direct influence on the fibroblasts and the improvement of tension of existing collagen fibres.

Procedure

Skin area which will undergo the procedure
should be clean, without any preparations,
make-up, deodorant, perfumes and cream.
First results are usually visible after the first treatment. To obtain long – term results, a series of 3 to 5 treatments performed every 3 to 4 weeks and then 1 reminding treatment every half a year are recommended.

After procedure

For the first five days after the treatment it is necessary to avoid factors which can cause the skin damage, such as hot bath, massages and intensive exercises. For a month after the treatment a patient should avoid sun and use creams with a high level of ultraviolet
sunscreen – at least 30 SPF.

Results

Wrinkles and nasolabial folds smoothing, smoother, tighter and more tense skin structure, less visible pores, eyebrows elevation.

What are wrinkles?

The clinical signs of aging manifest themselves by appearance of wrinkles, loss of skin tension,
the increased amount of widened blood vessels and the pigment marks.  Collagen varies among different people genetically and structurally. Its disintegration increases with chronological age and with
the process of photoaging. The sun radiation, free radicals, hormonal changes and smoking contribute to this disintegration. Fibroblasts’ ability to create new collagen fibres decreases and the net composed of fibres is thinner and relaxed. The impulse for the fast developing anti-aging medicine became the desire to reverse this process. The correction of the skin structure and wrinkles removal required traditionally surgeries such as facelift or ablative techniques connected with a few days of convalescence.
Non- ablative skin remodelling achieved a great popularity among patients and doctors. The number of laser and optical systems was increasing, which activity was based on the fibroblast stimulation by
the direct acting on them. The next promising stage was a development of a technology based on the high frequency current. Elos technology combining the functions of laser diode and high frequency current has the ability to focus energy on the target area without epidermis damage, which is a significant superiority over traditional systems. High patients’ satisfaction is an effect.

What is an Elos technology

  • The synergistic acting of optical and high frequency current energies.Optical energy is absorbed by
the pigment (hemoglobin in blood vessels, melanin) and exchanged into warmth, which in a thermal way destroys the target cells. A current is conducted through the route of increased temperature and additionally heats the target. The current action does not depend on the amount of melanin in epidermis, because of that, these procedures can be carried out even among people having dark complexion, without any risk of damaging the epidermis. The electric energy has ability to penetrate much deeper reaching deeper lying structures than an optical energy alone.
  • The increased effectiveness and safety of procedures where the elos system technology is used.
The greater safety is connected with the usage of lower level of optical energy, what is compensated by a strong and highly selective action of bipolar current. The summary amount of energy is higher but risk of epidermis damage minimal. This unique synergy enables to reach the deeper lying structures and the structures which have smaller ability to absorb the optical energy: fair hair, collagen, fat. During
the procedure a skin temperature is being monitored all the time.
